The innovative system is designed to convert a wide range of innovative packaging materials, including cArtù® (the special thick, cushioning and ultra-protective flexible corrugated board developed by Grifal) into covered or uncovered corrugated sheets or reels, E/B/C/EB/BC corrugated board, three-wave board, honeycomb board, folding carton and tissuePack, the revolutionary new corrugated multi-fiber corrugated board made of 100% natural, ultra-soft and cushioning fibers.

The RotoMultiCut RMC 1201 GT makes it possible to make in one step:

  • Inkjet marking
  • Upper and lower longitudinal cuts and half-cuts with rotary blades
  • Longitudinal scissor cut
  • Cordoning
  • Double-helix, continuous, high-precision cross-cutting

These integrated functions enable companies to obtain ready-to-use finished products, reducing intermediate steps, set-up time and material waste.

Input and loading module:
Suitable for sheet or reel feeding, it allows precise adjustment of material width and positioning.

Motorized feeding and printing module
The drag function enables precise speed adjustment by synchronized brushless motors. Rubberized feed rollers possess large diameter are also suitable for dragging corrugated materials with uncovered wave. Printing is accomplished with six individually positionable 12-mm inkjet heads.

Longitudinal blade cutting and half-cutting module
The original blade cutting system allows, a clean cut without crushing the material. The adjustment of each cutting unit can also be made individually in depth. The presence of upper and lower blade-holder assemblies with respect to the material passage makes it possible to overcome cutting minimums and perform “accordion” cutting.

Longitudinal scissor cutting module, creasing
The two motorized shafts can be configured into multiple scissor cutting groups and multiple creasing groups. Each shaft can be separately adjusted in speed and direction of rotation.

Dual-helix rotary transverse cutting module
Enables precise transverse cuts in continuous motion by an original constant-torque motor.
